“Do all the mayors and councils throughout the country employ such tactics to silence its constituency on Fast Track matters?”
“The mayor's comments were completely non-sensical at best and a frightening attack on free speech and democracy at worst. By councillors listening to community concerns, it would create a prejudice that ’stops them from participating’. Does that mean that if they were to take into consideration the concerns of the community in the fast track process he would silence them too? This is autocracy in action”
