The Gibbston Valley station (GVS) Fast-track application has passed the “referral” phase and is in the “substantive” stage. GVS need to work on their substantive application, in consultation with QLDC, before their application can put forward to the Expert Panel for review and a decision.

QLDC continues to silence us on Gibbston Valley Station (GVS) Fast Track matters.

QLDC has maintained its unreasonable stance. FOGCZ will not be allowed to speak at its public forum on this Fast Track application by Gibbston Valley Station (GVS).

QLDC has denied FOGCZ the right to speak at the Public Forum of the Full QLDC meeting today.

Gibbston should be allowed to have a dialogue with the government, the Expert Panel and the QLDC. Instead, it is being suppressed.

NO to the 900 homes message has been repeated and amplified to a wider audience at the Greenstone Gibbston Valley Summer Concert on the 18th of January 2025.

The Ministry of Environment has released the Application FTA345 - Gibbston Village details on 13 December 2024.

There was increased opposition to the Mayor’s silencing tactics on Fast Track matters.

The Mayor, Glyn Lewers said no one including FOGCZ is allowed to speak at the public forums (council meetings) on matters related to the Fast Track applications.

The Mayor of Queenstown, Glyn Lewers has announced that no one will be permitted to speak on the topic of the Gibbston Valley Station (GVS) Fast Track application at the QLDC full council meeting on 12 December 2024.

We do not know the status of the Gibbston Valley Station (GVS) application.
