Update

We do not know the status of the Gibbston Valley Station (GVS) application.

It was supposed to be announced after the Fast Track Bill was reviewed on 28 November 2024. The Ministry for the Environment updated its website on 2 December 2024. NO news.

Any details of the GVS application will be known on or before 20 December 2024. Read the reply from OIA (Official Information Act).

Perhaps QLDC did have prior knowledge about the GVS application and its details? Read this correspondence from OIA to QLDC regarding the Gibbston Village application.

We want to be heard again and again

Three or four of the FOGCZ supporters will speak at the QLDC full council meeting on Thursday 12 December 2024 at 1pm. If you are able to, please go and support them. With an allocation of 3 mins per speaker, you can be out of there, in less than 20 mins.
