There is a QLDC Full Council meeting on Thursday 17 April at 10am Gorge Road. Please register if you plan to speak at the Public Forum. You can speak on any subject for 3 mins except on FAST Track matters. Please let us know if you need help on this.

So far, one person has registered to do so. Please go and support if you can.

A reminder for this evening: Meet Joseph Mooney, National MP for Southland
When: 7:00 pm, Monday 14 April 2025
Where: The Willow Room at Kinross
Purpose: Join the GCA for a friendly 'meet and greet' with our local MP, Joseph Mooney

Background: Formally a solicitor, Joseph was elected in 2020 and is the Chair of the Social Services and Community Select Committee, and a member of the Regulations Select Committee.

The format: Joseph will chat and answer questions so please bring along your written questions. (We will also provide pen and paper for this.) The questions will be put in a hat and drawn randomly.

Please note: Regarding the Fast Track process: As this is an independent process led by an expert panel, Joseph will not be able to answer any questions or make any comments that may be perceived as intended to influence that independent process.
